All Ages - Everyone is WELCOME!
Sunday School at BWBC is our time where we study the Bible with others to learn ways of the church, to deepen our discipleship and to learn how to live out our faith throughout the coming week.
Our goal is to have a profound impact on the life of our congregation. We want to welcome members and visitors.
Please join us each Sunday Morning!
"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual."

SEEKING A CHAMPION OF JUSTICE
Sunday April 5, 2020
As a result of experiencing this lesson, you should be able to do these things:
Explore the concept of “Messiah”.
Sense the wonder of Jesus’ role as servant to the nations.
Emulate Jesus as a servant of God who executes justice.
Isaiah 42: 1-9
42-1-4 “HERE IS my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations. “He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets. “A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; “he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his teaching the islands will put their hope. “
42: 5-7 This is what God the LORD says—the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them out, who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it: “ I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, “to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.”
42:8-9 “I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols. “See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declares; before they spring into being I announce them to you.”
Our Prayer: Thank you Father for this promise, use us to make it a present reality for the suffering around us. Amen!
