Pastor Darrell Alexander Sneed was born and raised in Houston and accepted Christ at the age of 12.  He immediately began sharing his faith in God and love of the Lord Christ Jesus in such a way that his passion and zeal for saving lost souls led him to lead his mother to Christ when he was in junior high school.  While attending the University of Texas in El Paso he was called to preach the uncompromising Gospel and became an ordained minister at the age of 19.

Purposefully called to a career in Education, he graduated with his bachelor’s degree in History/Kinesiology from the University of Texas in El Paso and his Master’s in Education Leadership/School Administration from UNT. The pursuit of educational reform that impacts student success in life continued for 34 years. During this time, he faithfully served as a Teacher/Coach, Principal and Assistant Superintendent in several districts across the state of Texas. He retired in 2016 as the Associate Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction with the Mansfield Independent School District.  He is currently an active School Board Member for Mansfield ISD.

Passionately serving Christ has always been his priority and Pastor Sneed is known for sharing his faith and the Lord on the job, in the community, in the Church, with friends, with family and strangers.  Since accepting Christ, he has utilized his gifts of Shepherding, Teaching, Leadership and Administration as a Sunday School Teacher, a Superintendent of Sunday School, Assistant Pastor, Executive Pastor and Capital Stewardship Campaign Chairperson to name a few.  His passion for the lost and those who have “lost” their way reaches far past the bricks and mortar of a building as evidenced by his dedication and devotion to The Prison Ministry.

Pastor Sneed resides in Mansfield, TX with his college sweetheart and wife of 39 years, Venetia.  She currently serves MISD as a Director in Human Resources.  He and Lady V are blessed with three children and one son-in love.  Justin lives in Houston, earned his Public Relations Degree from Sam Houston State and is an Associate Director of Stewardship for The Baylor College of Medicine.  Jarred earned his Bachelor’s and Master of Accounting degree at the University of Arkansas and his MBA from Duke.  He lives in Seattle and works for the Microsoft Corporation.  Jalyn graduated from Texas A&M Commerce with a Bachelors in the Humanities and Arts and is a published author, She and her husband, Demetrius, are expecting their first baby, Olivia Janette in May 2020.
